The Skilled Trades programs utilize computer training with virtual reality simulations. English and Spanish video trainings are available and can be applied to several specialties, including:

+ Residential & commercial HVAC

+ Construction

+ Solar energy

+ Appliance maintenance

 

Numerous certification options will be offered, including NATE Ready-to-Work, NATE CHP-5, EPA 608, and OSHA 10. Additional training and CEUs will also be available in the fields of HVAC; plumbing; electrical; solar energy; and appliance, residential, and facilities maintenance.  

While trainings for both the Heavy Equipment Operation and Skilled Trades programs are designed for all users, those who need extra preparation will be connected to supplemental resources designed to assist patrons with foundational skills, such as basic computer use, foundational mathematics, and workplace communications.
