Since 1916, Fayetteville Public Library has been committed to its vision to be powerfully relevant and completely accessible while strengthen our community and empower citizens through free and public access to knowledge!
The Board of Trustees provides leadership in performing the mission of the Library, serves as a liason between the Library and City Council, and meets the informational, educational and recreational needs of the community.
In September of 2021, the Library commissioned The Ivy Group as its partner in conducting a thorough community needs assessment. The assessment would help guide the Library’s upcoming strategic planning process, with the ultimate goal of widening its patron base and increasing the quality and inclusivity of its services.
