Learn what aging life care management is and how it can help you and your loved ones.

This program is for older adults navigating difficult health decisions, the families taking care of them, and families with dependent adult children with disabilities. This talk will be followed by a Q&A session.

Aging Life Care Managers help older adults navigating the challenges of aging and make positive, informed decisions and plans. Their guidance leads people to the actions and decisions that ensure quality care and an optimal life for themselves or those they love, thus reducing worry, stress, and time off of work for family caregivers. Aging Life Care Managers are nurses and social workers who work in the following categories:

  • Health and Disability
  • Financial
  • Housing
  • Families
  • Local Resources
  • Advocacy
  • Legal
  • Crisis Intervention

This event will be livestreamed. Watch it here →

This program is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

Meet your presenter

Cherie is a Northwest Arkansas native and has worked in senior health care for more than 14 years. She had the honor of being a family caregiver to her aunt and grandmother, so she knows first-hand the realities and complexities that come with unexpected health diagnoses, adults aging in place or the stresses of being a full-time caregiver to a loved one. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and is passionate about helping and guiding her local community though education, resources and even just being a listening ear who understands. She currently works for Purview Life and will be providing information today about their aging lifecare management services that assist adults & their families with any elder and/or special needs issues. Providing clarity, objectivity, & expertise is our focus, and we also educate on the importance of preplanning and setting up Powers of Attorney.  Helping families and individuals navigate through financial, legal, medical, crisis intervention and local resources is our passion.
